Annual options are offered at a discount on the in-app Upgrade screen. Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.
You may cancel at any time using the platform-specific paths above. Upon cancellation, you keep your paid tier features until the end of the current billing period; after that, your account reverts to the Free tier. Refunds for App Store and Play Store purchases are handled by Apple and Google respectively under their own policies; refunds for web purchases are handled by GAY-i in accordance with applicable law and Stripe's policies.
You may optionally add an Impact Boost ($1.00/month) to your subscription. 100% of the Impact Boost amount is donated to organizations supporting the LGBTQ+ community. The Impact Boost is billed alongside your subscription and can be toggled on or off at any time.
GAY-i donates 10% of subscription revenue to organizations supporting the LGBTQ+ community, including crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ young people. This donation comes from GAY-i's revenue and is not added on top of your subscription price. Donation recipients are vetted for transparency and impact, and may be updated periodically. Details and recipients are shared in our giving updates.
Each subscription tier includes a daily chat limit that resets at midnight. GAY-i also employs rate limiting to prevent abuse, including per-minute message limits, burst detection, and spam prevention. If you exceed rate limits, you will receive a friendly notification and may need to wait briefly before sending additional messages. Attempting to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service may result in account restrictions.
Responses generated by GAY-i are created by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for evaluating and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content, including chat responses and Advice Cards.

You agree to use GAY-i respectfully and not attempt to circumvent content moderation, rate limits, or misuse the service. You agree not to use the service to generate harmful, discriminatory, or illegal content.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GAY-i, its operators, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
